• Cognitive impairment and fragility syndrome in geriatric patients,

• Comprehensive care for the elderly, with particular emphasis on the early detection of cardiovascular diseases,

• NAWA- "EDUNURSE COVID CHALLENGE developing a strategy to counteract the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education of nursing students."

Currently, the Department conducts research as part of doctoral studies and the Doctoral School, on the following topics:

- Long-term evaluation of the outcomes of pregnant patients after kidney / liver transplantation

- Optimization of postoperative care in pediatric cardiac surgery

- Evaluation of the effectiveness of analgesic treatment in oncological patients in the surgical department

- Blood-saving techniques during cardiac surgery
