The Department of Geriatric Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University of Warsaw educates students in the field of nursing in the field of geriatrics and geriatric nursing as well as internal medicine and internal medicine nursing. The department also carries out interdisciplinary research projects.

During the Department's activities so far, academic teachers and doctoral students take part in national and international conferences, presenting papers on the results of their own work, which were published in peer-reviewed Polish journals on a national scale and in foreign journals from Impact Factor (IF).
